In August 2005, the European Union intoduced the EU WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC and later the WEEE Recast Directive requiring Producers of Electrical & Electonic Equipment to manage the collection, recycling, re-use of end of life equipment.
This initiative is designed to minimize the amount of electrical and electronic waste disposal and to help encourage re-use and recycling of products that may otherwise we disposed of.
If you have purchased any Distell.com Fish or Meat Fat Meter products in the UK or EU and are intending to dispose of these products, please do not dispose of them with your other waste. Please contact us to discuss options for the recycling of your product.
